You control your subscription through Yahoo Groups! Each e-mail you receive provides "unsubscribe" and other information.
INFORMATION ABOUT METAGROUPS
• Metagroups Community Calendar Announcements are FREE...a public service offered to the community since 1998 as a labor of love. In April 2005, it became a webpage listing metaphysical, spiritual community and alternative healing events from several groups and individuals in the Central Florida area. These events are posted throughout the week with notifications of updates sent to group members once or twice a week. Special announcements may be posted at any time along with notifications of updates.
• Group leaders MUST BE ON THE METAGROUPS LIST so that they can see what is posted and notify me promptly if corrections need to be made; and they are asked to please keep their information updated in a timely manner, allowing at least one week advance notice before an event. All updates and changes must be sent by email to Ron at metagroups@cfl.rr.com; and they will be posted to the website as soon as possible after receipt. Notifications (reminders) will be sent out once or twice a week.
• For getting your event listed, the following should be provided: name of group hosting the event; title of class or program; speaker; day, date and time; location; fees (if any); and description of event. It is helpful if you keep your information formatted in a similar manner to the way it appears in metagroups; e.g., Day of week, Date, Time are lower case except for the first letter, and titles are all CAPS.
• Anyone or any group that holds events on a regular basis may have their own listing. Email addresses and website addresses are encouraged in your listing. Please provide yours so that people can learn even more about you and the service(s) you provide.
• PLEASE NOTE: Fliers (image documents that are not editable) are not posted in metagroups announcements; and the information contained in the fliers will not be retyped. All information to be posted in metagroups must be sent in text or document files that can be edited, i.e., with cut- or copy-and-paste capabilities.
• Anyone on this list is encouraged to forward the metagroups link to anyone in the area or outside who may be interested in learning what is happening in our area, or read the challenging and/or uplifting articles in the FOOD FOR THOUGHT section. Remember, they must sign up for themselves, if they are interested.
• In September 2006, Conscious Living Partnership honored Ron and presented him with "Heart of the Community" Award for his long-standing service to our circle of friends, Lightworkers who have chosen to make a difference.
