PERSPECTIVES with Ron
3/8/2010: Latest News! Going out with a huge success, last night was the final in the weekly series of Perspectives at the Aquarian Cultual Center on Sunday evenings. What a night it was! Forty people attended, the second highest total since these began in November. Only the benefit for Fred Migliore the fourth week in November had more people show up.
The performance of Surcular Souls, an all-women fusion drum tribe, was inspiring to say the least. The pre-planning that included costume design by Amanda Pillow who also created the video slide presentation or light show, a multitude of instruments producing an array of sounds that was as unique as it was exciting to hear, the belly dancing talent of Tiffany Aldridge, the wonderful lyrics and voice of Marie Adams all came together in a synergy of sound, image and choreography that put smiles on the faces and joy in the hearts of those who shared in this marvelous concert that was followed by an audience interview of the ladies. Lisa Perez replaced Sharan Miller in the line-up, doing a magnificent job along with Sharron Hoilman, Christine Galvin and the three ladies already mentioned above; and Anthony Darmana was also there to lend his technical support in so many ways. om . They are soulful performers. As I reflect on my decision to end these meetings following such a rousing success in which many came to Perspectives for the first time, I feel sadness. It's not like me to quit something I feel is so worthwhile; and I'm really not quitting. There will be other Perspectives meetings, although they will be more like special events than weekly happenings. There may be other venues and they may be held on other nights. If ANYONE has an idea or vision to present something to our awakening community, please contact me. I want to continue to help support vision, creativity and community interaction. Together, only together, can we co-create the changes we all want to see in the world. As I said before, only by awakening the sense of community and getting beyond the lone-ranger mentality can we soften the shock of the changes that lie ahead. I will still try my best to help and support.
Later the dame day...a new plan.
Every Wednesday, beginning March 31, 7-9pm – PERSPECTIVES with RON and Friends at The Mary Horgan Center for Spiritual Development, 473 Thomas Drive in Melbourne [see MAP].
The format of the Wednesday meetings at the Mary Horgan Center is about to change. In the past, our S.E.L.F. (Spiritual Exploration of Life Forum) meetings were mostly videos with occasional speakers. That will be completely reversed. Speakers or discussion leaders will be scheduled at least 75-80% of the time to allow more person-to-person interaction. This format will provide the opportunity for the community dialog part of my vision for Perspectives to be better realized. As for the part of my vision relating to highlighting creative gifts, mostly music and possibly drama, these will still occur at least once a month as special events held on a weekend night (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) at The Aquarian Cultural Center / New Way POD, 238 Peachtree Street in Cocoa. The suggested donation for Wednesday nights will continue to be $3 with refreshments served by the Mary Horgan Center; and there will be a love offering basket set out for speakers or discussion leaders. There will be a $5-$10 donation requested for the special events in Cocoa with the money being split between the New Way and the various performers. There will be other special Perspective events, like seminars and workshops, held in either location depending on interest. The suggested donation for these will vary.
...Because almost nothing is as we have been told or even as it appears.

This is what you heard when we came together at the opening of PERSPECTIVES..."We welcome you to a sacred space where you are invited to rise to a higher place from which your perspective shifts. Both the sacred space and the higher place are within YOU! You are connected - beyond time and space - to ALL THAT IS! Nothing is outside of you. All that you experience, all that you have or will ever experience, is inside of YOU ... for you are the perfect microcosm of the macrocosm. You are infinite! You are eternal! You are ALL of Life! Everyone and everything serves you by reflecting your consciousness, if only you will recognize it! Remember and realize your vastness, for that is the perspective from which you are enriched and empowered to transform your life. Once you see from this perspective, and live from that place, you become a master. Welcome to the world of mystics where perspectives create new realities."

Message from Ron, November 24, 2009 ...
My daughter is home-schooling Lydia. The curriculum she is using is from a Christian group that wants to teach the children that they are sinners. Kari doesn’t like that, and neither do I. She asked me to provide an alternative series of Bible verses to have Lydia memorize. I did a paraphrase, combining more than one version, of Philippians 2: 1-8. Here it is.
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if you get any comfort from his love, any fellowship with his Spirit, any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love and being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also consider the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: who, being made in the very nature of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself as nothing, taking the very nature of a servant made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a human, he humbled himself and became obedient by serving others, even dying on the cross.
