A) COLLEGE OF METAPHYSICAL STUDIES/TEMPLE of LIGHT

All classes and services are held at the CMS Clearwater campus, 18514 US 19 N. (Just south of Nursery Rd). All CMS classes are based on a 6-session plan (6-weeks on and 1-week off). Payment will be $15 per weekly class session with $45 payable at registration and $45 due every 3rd week unless otherwise specified. Special financial arrangement can be made, in advance, on a case-to-case basis. ABOUT Dr. Fu-Kiau A native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, K. Kia Bunseki Fu-Kiau is one of the most distinguished and insightful scholars of African culture. He is a highly sought consultant and lecturer not only in the United States but internationally as well. Educated in both Western and African systems of thought, Dr. Fu-Kiau has provided insight into African cultural practices to scholars, museums and cultural institutions around the globe. In 1964, he founded the Luyalungunu Iwa Kûmba-nsi Institute, an indigenous African research and development center. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Fu-Kiau recently retired from the Suffolk County, Massachusetts Department of Corrections where he was an instructor and Director of Library Services. He has two masters’ degrees from Salem State College and Simmons College, and he obtained a doctorate degree from The Union Institute in Ohio in 1986. His published works include African Cosmology of the Bantu-Kôngo (2001), Self-Healing Power and Therapy (1991), Kindezi: The Kôngo Art of Babysitting (1988), Simba Simbi (2006) and Mbongi: An African Traditional Political Institution (2007).
