1) DR. MARY HORGAN CENTER - RON VAN DYKE

Meetings are held in Ron's home at 473 Thomas Drive in Melbourne (Eau Gallie). There is a meeting room and the Dr. Mary Horgan Memorial Meditation Room and Library. The latter is available for counseling and healing sessions. DIRECTIONS: Turn north on Johnson Drive off of Aurora Road about 1/4 mile west of Croton and 3/4 mile east of Wickham, then turn right at stop sign, bear left onto Thomas, click for MAP. VIEW (click left arrow twice for front view of house). House is second from the end on the left-hand-side. Perspectives meets every Wednesday from 7-9 pm. Workshops and special events are held periodically. Ron also holds or sponsors events in other locations, and is active in The New Way POD in Cocoa. In March 2010, the Wednesday meetings at the Mary Horgan Center changed. In the past, our S.E.L.F. (Spiritual Exploration of Life Forum) meetings were mostly videos with occasional speakers. Now we have speakers or discussion leaders almost every week to allow more person-to-person interaction. This format will provide the opportunity for the community dialog part of my vision for Perspectives to be better realized. The suggested donation for Wednesday nights will continue to be $3 with refreshments served by the Mary Horgan Center; and there will be a love offering basket set out for speakers or discussion leaders. There will be other special Perspective events, like seminars and workshops, held either at the MHC or the Aquarian Cultural Center in Cocoa (The New Way).

Every Wednesday, 7-9*pm – PERSPECTIVES with RON and FRIENDS

We choose to see the world from a spiritual perspective in this intimate and informal group where there is discussion on a variety of topics dealing with spiritual growth and other areas that affect our lives. Guests will join Ron each week to talk about their vision and gifts. Sometimes a video will be shared and discussed. Refreshments are served; $3 donation requested for the center and a love offering basket provided to honor guests. *Some meetings may go longer than 9pm. Everyone is invited; this is not a closed group! Consider this your invitation.

July 28, 7-9pm – DAENA CROGHAN: REAWAKENING AND USING SPIRITUAL GIFTS

Daena is an amazing young lady who has had spirit encounters from early childhood, although she had fear and uncertainty associated with them as she grew up. About four years ago, she reconnected with those early gifts and began studying Spiritualism and Mediumship in it's many forms; and she is currently taking the Morris Pratt course for Mediumship, which she is hoping to pursue as a career some day. She is active in the Spiritualist Church in Melbourne and in "The Workshop" [#22] Community where she uses her gifts to help others heal as she follows her heart and innate wisdom. She says, "I still walk through some of those [early] fears largely due to my conditioning." It's so fascinating watching her interact so lovingly in the workshop setting that I just had to invite her to come share with us in Perspectives. Besides sharing her story, she will be giving spirit greetings to those willing to receive one.

August 4, 7-9pm – MARSHA VALUTIS: POWER OF SOUL - MARSHA'S STORY & HER PRACTICE

Marsha's story is amazing, a miracle to those of us who witnessed the tranformation. To create her miracle, she used Soul Power techniques and practices, including: Soul Songs, Soul Communication, Soul Dance, Soul Movement, Soul Orders, Soul Tapping, Soul Conferencing, Soul Healing and Say Hello Healing. Besides sharing her story, she will demonstrate some of the techniques. She also hosts a Power of Soul Group every Monday night in Melbourne Beach. Join us and discover for yourself that these simple techniques for transformation are all within our grasp right now. Questions and discussion will be encouraged.

Doug Spears is Florida's Native Troubadour. Every Tuesday, 6-7:30pm – SPIRITUAL DRUM CIRCLE

Group drumming is a fun and exciting way to offset the effects of stress and can lead to positive biological changes. Vibrations of the drum sound organize the water in our bodies on a cellular level. The energy of the sound can increase the body chemicals that relate to immunity. Drumming stops the chatter of the mind and frees us from the cage of doubts, fears and negative habits. Drumming helps us to connect to our inner guidance that inspires us to be fully present with our passion. In this drumming class led by Fred Goodnight, we will explore basic hand and stick techniques and learn basic rhythms from Africa, Brazil and urban application. We will be able to experience the connection to each other, Mother Earth and our own inner rhythm, which can be a healing force. We will use chants, body percussion, movement, vocal phrases and intention. All ages and levels are welcome. There will be a few percussion instruments to loan, but please bring a drum if you have one. Melt away stress, heal your joints & tendons, and feel a glow of well-being sweep over your entire body with basic qigong. A complete chi gung (qigong) workout which teaches you to use your mind, breath and simple movements to lead the chi into your body, breaking up patterns of stress and tension. After releasing the tension in your joints and muscles the class will go deeper and release core tensions in your abdominal region and internal organs. We'll follow up on the T Square and eclipses, look at the chart of Mel Gibson, the charts of the Gulf States, and do a special chart. In September we'll do secondary progressions. As always bring your chart and a sharing attitude, and in Sept, your progressed chart. We are going to make a special effort to instruct people new to Astrology for a set time period during meetings. Or a small class may take place before the meetings; we'll see. If we look at the T square to date, I've seen students and clients who are having conflicts and difficulty making choices. The conflict in the sky is merely reflecting in our lives. Sometimes the decision is clearer after the T square passes. When we look at Mel Gibson's chart we see that like Tiger Woods, he is a Capricorn Sun. His Moon is in early Libra, so that he's getting the T square full force on his Moon. If he appears a littte miffed, this is part of it. He is LUI, living under the influence of planets. Otherwise, the well has been stopped but clean up continues, there have been severe widespread floods in China, the recovery is dragging, and 2010 is the hottest on record. I have not emphasized enough that part of the T square is good, even if it might have some interference. Jupiter next to Uranus in Aries is quite a combo. Jupiter is optimistic and good, Uranus is ingenious, and Aries is active and pioneering. Somewhere beneficial progress is happening. Please take the time to See Venus in the west a little while after sunset. Look to the left and up a little, the two bodies are Mars and Saturn. This should be fun to watch throughout early August.

His Shuttle Mission Poster for STS-127 has been selected by the NASA Communications Material Review for their Gallery Award as one of the best designs of 2009. It will be posted to the NASA site in their CMR Gallery along with a short bio of Jerry. "This poster was a design challenge from the start," says Designer Jerry Forney. "There were no images or photos of it, except one very poorly drawn sample. I had to redraw and create the module virtually from scratch with little input as to what the finished product actually looked like." Jerry Forney is co-owner of Storytree Productions with wife and storyteller, Ada Forney. He also was an internet pioneer with the first online cartoon syndicate site, Future Features Cartoon Syndicate and Cartoon America. Many of you know of the current relocation of Nature’s Spirit Shoppe within the “Rising Sun Emporium” At 501 Florida Avenue {The Blue House}. Yes, the very same that housed my shoppe upon returning to Florida just 6 years ago. Amazingly Dolores appeared ready to open her own shoppe with tastes & interests much like mine. So now through this new store one can obtain the wonderful gemstones, vibrational music, knowledgeable books & divination decks as well as much more! And of course Nature’s Spirit Distinctive Aromatherapy product line. I will continue to teach classes, guide workshoppes & schedule appointments for private blends & consultations. To All, For years now I send out an e-mail each month with updates on Nature’s Spirit products and class schedules. This is the most difficult mailing. It is with a tear of unimaginable dimension from my heart that I write this note. 41) POWER OF SOUL WITH MARSHA VALUTIS, Ph.D.

The Power of Soul teachings and practices are taught by Master Zhi Gang Sha (www.drsha.com), a spiritual healer to whom "the Divine" gave power to download "soul software" and heal a range of ailments. Born in the Shaanxi province of China in 1956, Zhi Gang Sha became interested in healing as a young child. He observed people in his immediate and extended family with a variety of illnesses. June 7, 2010 Hello dear friends, acquaintances, and soul family, Many of you have not heard from me in a long time, and many of you I have met in events past. (And some of you know what I’m up to, so here is just a reminder!)  Having had an incredible year, I am most eager to serve my community (and the entire soul world) in numerous ways, as much as possible. For those who may not know, I was profoundly depressed and diagnosed with stage IV cancer in September, 2009. In March of 2010, not only was I happy and joy filled (and had been for some time), but I received a clear, completely normal CAT Scan, after learning and practicing the Soul Power methods of Master Zhi Gang Sha. I am now practicing to heal all areas of my life. I just returned from an intensive retreat (Tao I – the way of all life) in Austria with Master Sha. Having become his student, I am very excited to reach as many who are interested in these beautiful, amazing and profound principles and practices. I continue to heal and to unfold into great joy and grace, using these simple and deeply releasing and awakening practices. Once the fundamentals are learned, you can add soul power to increase the effectiveness of any of your current practices, whatever they are. At a Really Really Free Market, goods and services are available at no cost. Yes, like a garage sale and, yes, like a Freecycle Free-for-all. But more so. If you have nothing, that's fine. I you have something to bring, that's fine. But no need to trade. It is all there for free. It's like a potluck--everyone brings something and leaves with more. We all have skills, ideas, objects, talents, smiles, friendship, excitement, discussions and many other things to share. If we bring them together at the REALLY REALLY FREE MARKET, we can provide more balanced and full lives for all of us. Bring food, music, clothes, furniture, toys, skills and thrills and anything else you can GIVE or SHARE. Skills? Bring them on. Fun skills. Serious skills. Play an instrument? Bring them. Why? Why not? Information tables? Of course. Garden clippings, vegetable and plant seeds and seedlings, extra pots? Bring them on. Bikes and boards? Wheel them in! Haircuts? Reflexology? Community Info? Face painting, massage, basic check-ups? Why not. Surplus food? Absolutely! Clothing and books and movies. You bet. With effort, everyone can have what they need. Bring everything but leave your wallet at home. What do we need now? Help get the word out! Let people know it is happening and it will be ongoing. Have them bring stuff, put off the yard sale, get that spring cleaning done. We need flyers. Nothing fancy. Just make up something and get it out there. Make them on your computer and send them in email. Make invitations, talk to businesses. The more people who do this, the larger and more ubiquitous it seems. That means more folk and more goods and more things changing hands and more people taken care of. More goods and services and energy circulating. Let's show folks what is really meant by The Free Market. Some folks do better than others.
